ABOUT
Surval Montreux are delighted to be hosting our first Model United Nations Day Conference on Thursday 6th June, 2019.
Our theme for this event is:
"The Protection and Modernisation of our World"
In which we hope to find peaceful initiatives for a huge challenge we are currently facing: Sustainable development in expanding cities. We also hope to conserve the beauty of the planet we currently live on in our special committee: UNESCO Heritage Protection.
We will be using the THIMUN rules of procedure.
The cost to each delegate would be CHF 20 and CHF 10 for the accompanying adult. Lunch and snacks will be included for all participants. The full schedule for the day can be found here.

Lucia
Chair: UNESCO
Lucia hopes to study International Law in the future and will be graduating this year. She has attended a number of conferences in the last two years and is excited to finally chair!
Alexandra
Co-chair: UNESCO
Our co-chair, Alexandra, is from a nearby international school, Haut-Lac, and is looking forward to Surval's MUN Conference.
Sandra
Chair: Environmental
Sandra hopes to study Medicine in the future and will be graduating this year. She has attended a number of conferences and is excited to finally chair!
Dana
Co-chair: Environmental
Dana is from one of our partner schools, GEMS, and is looking forward to the experience and opportunity to co-chair in the Environmental Assembly.
